Know No Bounds (WIP)

"Okay, so I was drawing my AJ wolf (hence the livestream post, which, by the bye, is now over) and did the usual magic wand tool, inverse, fill it in, etc, etc, to make the wolf base (no particular color). And since the magic wand tool isn't COMPLETELY precise, there's always a few weird spots here and there, especially in tight corners, I decided to color a simple temporary background. And why not make it a pretty color, since I'll be looking at it for practically the entire drawing process. I turned off the lineart layer at some point (I like to do that, turn on and off layers to see how they look), and I noticed that the silhouette actually looked pretty cool :D
I also started on the shading. The wolf/shading aren't going to be gray, the lineart isn't going to be black. I just like to keep it simple when I'm still rendering.
What do you guys think?"

Quoted from my terribly long G+ post about this! That basically describes everything I really need to say. Also, I've improved greatly since the last drawing, of course. I'm still not good with linearts. The silhouette looks better to me than the actual thing right now (if that were a cheap print for sale, I would totally buy it. It looks so clean!). I also did something special for this: I livestreamed! Find my Picarto.TV account here. I really recommend this site - it's free, and it's perfectly good even if you don't have their "premium membership;" you miss out on very little.
I'll write a little post about livestreaming, which you most likely will have read (if I end up writing it); it will be the one above this one.
